Michigan Community Services, Incorporated (MCSI) was organized as a State of Michigan nonprofit corporation on January 21, 1982.
The mission of Michigan Community Services, Inc., is to enable individuals facing obstacles to independence to live, work, and participate in the community as normally and as independently as possible, and to progress to their fullest potential toward independence.
The agency's basic goal is to provide a "least restrictive" quality living environment within the community setting.
People currently served as individuals with developmental disabilities, individuals experiencing mental illness and the elderly.
The Corporate Agency believes in the intrinsic worth of every individual, whether consumer or staff, and their right to dignity, respect, and opportunity for achievement. Michigan Community Services' record of quality consumer services and advocacy is proof of this commitment to these ideals.
